The Clueless Lover Ch. OneAfter the events of his sleepless night, Hayate was attacked after overhearing some unfortunate news. A plot against his village. He was cut down and found "dead" on the roof top. He had managed to crawl away with his sword between his teeth and he was able to get far enough away that the village wouldn't see him. He felt weak, disorientated, and in searing pain. His chest bled badly and his throat burned. He felt like he hung in the balance of being dead and alive. His life felt useless.
A young lady came over to him; she looked at out of place. She was not a ninja; konoichi, or a fighter. She looked like a mistress or a fancy lady. "Are you okay, sir?" She asked with a thick accent.
"Help " Was all Hayate could choke out.
"I'll help you young lad." She helped him up and slung him over her shoulders. For a small looking girl she was really strong.
My life as I knew is over. Hayate thought to himself. Genma, Uzuki, Konoha, everything. A pain shot through him and he collapsed even
The Clueless Lover PrologueAfter a long day out on the training, Hayate felt tired. He smiled when he thought about going home and being embraced by his fiancé; Uzuki. Uzuki had always made him a cup of tea and something easy to swallow when he got home from his practice. He began packing up his ninja tools when he heard a rustle in the bushes. He froze and listened for any other noise but he couldn't detect anything more. So he continued packing, he stood up and slipped on his jacket when he felt eyes on him. He trembled and finally turned around.
"Good evening, Hayate." A familiar voice said from underneath the brush.
"C-come out from there." Hayate stuttered as he grabbed a kunai knife.
The man laughed and jumped out, short of getting hit with a barrage knives, he yelled and put up his hands. "It's me, ol' pal." He laughed and came over.
Hayate sighed loudly. "Genma, you know I'm jumpy at this time of night."
Genma laughed again and put his arm around his best friend. "I know, here, I'll walk you home."
Hayate FanfictionThe death of him devastated the whole village. His best friend almost had a heart attack when he'd heard all the others talking about his death. When he'd confronted the girlfriend of his best friend they both cried in response to the news. The happy trio would never again be together.
But this accident, this death, this unfortunate action, gave way to a new life for the one who'd "died". When the clamor of the events died down, he'd gotten away. The whole village was grieving but Hayate walks. Hayate lives. He lives alone, away from Konoha, away from his fiancé, and away from his best friend.
Hayate had to take a new life. The villages all believe he's dead and to just return alive, well would put his beloved village in harm's way. The sand ninjas would never forgive him and of course he could still talk. The unsuspecting village still doesn't know of the dangers that is yet to come.
He had to walk away. To keep his friends safe, to keep his sanity intact. His cough and injuries
Corbenic SequelSince a year ago, when he finally told his mother he'd loved her and found Corbenic again, his life seems to have calmed down and feels normal. Trevor allowed him to have his job back at the office and now Cal works five days a week. Making a salary that he feels comfortable with.
Shadow tugged on his sleeve as they walked down the street together. "I'm so glad you've come home." She laughed idly as he gave her a sideways glare. She saw and quickly mumbled. "I'm still sorry about your mother."
Cal shrugged. "Don't be." He mumbled shoving his hands in his tweed suit's pockets. "I resolved our issue." He sort of snorted under his breath. He rolled his shoulders still feeling lighter since that night.
She looked over at him. She knew bringing up that day would just upset him but she felt she needed to ask, so she said: "Did you save Bron?"
He trembled from shock. He felt like lying but he didn't and gritted his teeth and mumbled: "Yeah."
A car came down the road at a rather fast pace for
Sasuke and Kazuma LSOHAs the lime green haired man wandered around on deck, he thought to himself. Quietly he felt alone. The ship had been anchored off the shore of Tentoo's harbor town; Kemuri o Haku. He felt alone; having nothing he needed to get, he stayed behind. He stretched and yawned. Damn, he thought to himself.
He finally took off down towards the galley. The galley, the one place he felt at home. He still had a little time before everyone got back so he decided to clean up a bit. The dirty floorboards were placed that way, the old counters sagged "naturally", and the cupboards creaked like when they were new. He sighed when he studied the pitiful kitchen closely. A rat scattered down the middle counter, clenching his teeth together he reached down and grabbed it firmly around the neck.
"Damn vermin." He swore snapping its neck. It struggled then lay limp in his hand. He swore again, and threw the dead rat out the window.
He yawned and cleansed his hands of the filthy rat. The water that he'd kept
